With my partner, Bill Palmer, I teach Movement Shiatsu all over Europe and in Australia. Movement Shiatsu is an innovative and interactive approach to bodywork, which uses touch and movement to bring awareness. It combines an understanding of our development as babies; of experiential anatomy – vital organs, bones, muscles, fascia and more – and how these structures support us from within; and of how the meridians of Oriental Medicine underpin our development. All these provide a comprehensive and effective means of working with the physical and emotional body.
I am a Director at The Good Heart in Frome which is a centre for practising, exploring and celebrating kindness. The Good Heart holds an annual Kindness Festival and I carry the banner for the importance of being kind to ourselves and to our bodies.
